Originally went with my natural size (12) based on reviews, but for me- a woman with a belly- it was too snug for comfort. I wanted a looser fit, so went up a size. This also helped with the chest cut-out, which originally showed a bit much for my liking. Love, love, the orange blossoms against the background, which is in between grey and green- I tried ordering grey bottoms to match and it was obvious this top is not truly grey. I wound up finding orange men's trunks at the thrift store and they match well- will cut out the mesh and wear with bikini bottoms. Note that the top is cut to be snug with the ruching; when I tried it on, I heard some ripping, I believe in the hem. So be careful and take it slow when you are dressing/undressing.
