In fact, LEDs are best for seasonal lighting

Look for plug-in LED strings that aren't battery operated and aren't 100 feet long. They fit me, so I bought them. You look great on my bathrobe. Leaves as a gift. I didn't need to add another garland to my robe. All you need to use them in regular wiring is a USB to regular male adapter. You can buy them at any hardware store in the lighting department. My daughter liked them so much that she ordered them for her apartment.
