Wow those bulbs are BRIGHT! Intense, pure white light that retains the factory light pattern and sharp edges. These lamps are not cheap. However, I tried another less expensive brand with some generic adapters; They didn't latch the bulbs and they rocked up and down in the cases. Unacceptable. These special adapters hold the lamps securely. Unfortunately the protrusions on the adapters are pretty flimsy, one of them is broken. It is held in place with epoxy. The good news is that I mentioned this to Lassiter and they are providing a replacement so they stand behind their product. Experience tips: When removing the old lamp, pull the cable harness and pull out the small plastic holder; You need a little more leeway. Attach adapter WITHOUT bulbs; This way you can feel the hole in the body and point it straight into it. Note the different sizes of the protrusions: on the passenger side, 2 large protrusions go from the top; 2 small ledges rise from the driver's side. Don't use too much force; They only rotate about 1/4 inch to snap into place. Connect the LEDs to the outside of the case making sure you have the correct polarity. If they don't light up, flip the connector over. along the side of the adapter and out of the way. Wet the O-rings around the lamp base with a little saliva and plug them straight into the adapter. Make sure the bulbs are positioned so that the LEDs are facing away. .
