Hello scanner lovers Bridgeport, CT this is a review of CT signals while I could have bought an 800mhz scanner but didn't, i live on 9 floors, pay attention to the signals Unlike the house and apartment, I can receive more than 37 channels of the nearby analog police and emergency services, some channels on the desktop scanner, such as 33.46, receive better than the base scanner. Gofigure, however, if you're into ATC air traffic, this scanner isn't for you. But my scanner picks up ham radio and weather audio streams just fine, as well as most New York frequencies. The only downside is that the adapter is on the right instead of the left as it should have been. As long as I can't afford a digital scanner, this baby will be fine. It's worth it
