We live in upstate NY, and it is currently in the 20’s F however I do sleep hot, so I prefer a lightweight comforter and this one does the job.It is not as fluffy as the photograph shows, and the ties for the duvet covers are pretty noticeable when using it by itself. Currently we just use it alone, and ignore the loops on the sides. I do think this would make for a very secure fit inside a cover, should you choose to use one.I have washed it several times now with bleach and it has come out great! The filling stays put in the cells that the stitching creates and doesn’t lump up.It is thin and lightweight, but this is what I was hoping for. You won’t find a premium duvet at this price point, however if you are not looking for anything heavy or down-filled, than this is a great option.
