I hope that anyone who reads a review on this type of product understands that these things happen. Recently one or more of our cats started peeing on the wooden floor. He was behind a chair, so it took him a while to find the problem spot, which gave him enough time to really take in the smell of urine. I tried cleaning it with Odo-Ban but the smell stayed. The same thing happened when I used Lysol. Then I tried pure, undiluted Odo-ban. Then I tried a simple easy solution. I thought it was working but they kept coming back to the same spot which our vet said was a sign they were still smelling urine. Enter this wonder product. It took three uses but now the smell is gone and the cats haven't peed in the area for days. I don't normally buy such products for a very specific use, but desperate times called for desperate measures. It's a little more expensive than the regular Simple Solution Spray, but it works. I would have saved time and money if I had used this in the first place. I'll always have a bottle of this drink handy from now on, and always use it whenever we have a mess on the wooden floor.
