They are VERY SMALL. I had to return this item TWICE before I received a shirt that fit my dog. My dog has always carried a small one since he was rescued from the shelter. In this subject, neither small nor medium suited him. We had to go BIG and he is a 14 lb dog. I've never heard of such a small dog needing a BIG one! Not to mention I should have gotten a medium size for my 2 month old 5 lb pup! Overall I'm FINALLY happy with my purchase, but it was a lot more trouble than it was worth! I do not recommend this product unless you have time to try on several times and return to get the right size.
