The Mingda Rock 3 is a large 300 x 300mm flatbed printer and most notably with an improved hotend/extruder. If you compare it to something like a CR-10, I have a CR-10S and it was just sitting there because I was in the process of upgrading my head to BMG/v6. Compared to the CR0-10, the Rock 3 has all the necessary upgrades built in, such as: B. a 24V power supply, two Z motors, a 32-bit touchscreen board and quiet Trinamic drivers. removing the seal. The key thing for me is the direct drive extruder and the fact that this machine has an upgraded BMG/v6 style extruder is just one highlight. All in all, you can get a cheaper machine but end up spending a ton of extra money on upgrades, or you can just get this machine and you're good to go! And you know what? I like the tin case and how all the electronics are built in. I don't like separate control boxes on machines like the CR-10. I was impressed with how quickly I assembled and printed it out. I've been working with this printer for a few days now and am making various designs for Thingiverse's stand.
