Great length and quite strong. This is definitely for small dogs, maybe medium sized ones. I would not recommend it for larger, more powerful dogs as it is too small in diameter. I thought the quality was great but I work with a lot of larger dogs so I actually traded it in for a thicker leash. They loved using it with all their little dogs. Evidence of chewing may not be present if your dog has teeth, but I haven't tested that. I think it's probably strong enough to use with big dogs, but the problem is that since it's thin it cuts your hand hard if you pull hard.
