Poor quality of materials, insanely heavy making it difficult to stay upright on the tree. Appearance is good but not perfect. Of course you would buy it because of the backlight effect, which works quite well and gives it 3 stars. The only problem is that the spread is narrow, so you need quite a large distance from the top of the tree to the ceiling to get a large area of the snowflake effect. We used it on a small tree in our nursery that we had them decorate. A 4.5 foot tree with this top and 8 foot ceilings created an area about 2 feet in diameter of snowflakes. A tree near the ceiling will only have 5-6 inches of effect, possibly less.
