. I've been buying replacement coated dough hooks for my Kitchenaid stand mixer for so long. However, after some time they start to flake off the coating again and again. I just bought this one and I love it. I made whole wheat bread with it yesterday. it fits perfectly in my mixer. I will update my review if for some reason it doesn't live up to expectations. but it's great, very hard, and now I don't have to worry about the white coating on my baked goods peeling off!
