Review on Computer case Thermaltake Versa H24 CA-1C1-00M1NN-00 by Stanisaw Lewczuk ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product is good, there are only a few minor flaws.

The case is not flimsy. The side walls are rigid and identical - you can swap them and not notice. The top wobbles, but becomes stiff when 2 fans are screwed to it. The frame is strong - even without side walls, the structure does not bend. Legs-stands are plastic, high, bp will never suffocate. The front cover plays the role of an additional filter for blowing, it sits well, looks strong, and is not difficult to remove. By the way, the socket with the reset and power buttons and USB ports is screwed to the case and remains in place when the front cover is removed. So there are no wires from the lid itself, which is very convenient. I use 4 2.5" hard drives, one 3.5" hard drive and one SSD, so all disk space is taken. Sleds for hards do not sit tight and dangle a little, fixed with rubber bands. Two front intake fans are mounted on the filter, and then the filter is installed in the case. The solution is unusual, but convenient. There is still space for two fans at the top and one at the back. All fans are 120mm exactly. As a result, the body is blown perfectly. The saddest thing is the installation of the motherboard. There is no place above it at all, it is closely adjacent to both the back panel and the lid. It is inconvenient to tighten the screws at the back wall, but it is quite possible. But getting to the top screws is terribly difficult, plus you need a short screwdriver. With the cooler installed, the task becomes even more difficult. I cursed for a long time, but still tightened all the screws. And here another set-up was waiting. I'm used to running the CPU power wire right behind the motherboard and out from above through a hole above the motherboard. But in this case, there was only a case cover above the motherboard, there was no more room for wires. Fortunately, my power supply has a wire under half a meter, I managed to run it on the side of the motherboard, then on top, otherwise I would have to either buy an extension cord or run it right on top of the motherboard. Behind it was possible to carry out only power cables for hard drives and SATA cables. Otherwise, the lid is difficult to close. Good case for your money.

Pros
  • Pleasant in appearance Strong enough 5 slots for 120mm fans Good air filters for blowing into the case and for the power supply Lots of slots for hard drives Can install graphics card up to 310mm
Cons
  • Motherboard installation is HELL AND SODOMIA Little space for cables behind the back cover The processor power cable cannot be routed behind the motherboard The hard sled is a little loose
