I have a 1996 Ski Doo Tundra II and am wearing a Clam X2 ice guard which is very heavy. When there is little snow on the ice, I get stuck in one place. I decided to try these Kold cutters and I'm glad I did. Installation was easy. I applied some red thread locking compound to the screw and then used my cordless drill to drive it through the tabs, only inserting 1 screw per tab. I inserted 4 bolts across the rail, rotated the rail to the next set of cleats, then inserted 2 in the middle. I continued this pattern until the entire track was covered. It took about an hour from start to finish and I wasn't trying to break any records. Today I drove the car onto the ice for fishing and didn't turn the route once which made it easier to get my cabin out. After a cursory inspection, it turned out that I didn't lose a single screw from the caterpillar, but time will tell. I'll update later when I drive the car some more on the ice.
