Happy to recommend: Tire & Wheel Care

I have used these lag bolts for added stability provided by the 5/boot spikes on my waders. At a price of 0.19 per screw, they proved very profitable. They worked very well as I felt the extra stability that 5 studs per shoe alone couldn't provide. The typical recommendation is 10 bog studs per boot, but at nearly $4 per stud, this has become almost prohibitively expensive. These screws made up for the extra difference in support at a much better price. In terms of sheer stability, these bolts…

Great grip for my snowmobile

I have a 1996 Ski Doo Tundra II and am carrying a Clam X2 ice tent which is very heavy. When there is little snow on the ice, I get stuck in one spot. I decided to try these Kold cutters and I'm glad I did. Installation was easy. I applied some red thread locking compound to the screw and then used my cordless drill to drive it through the tabs, only inserting 1 screw per tab. I inserted 4 bolts across the rail, rotated the rail to the next set of cleats, then inserted 2 in the middle. I…

Fall on your bum or buy this and be safe

I wish I had found this all those years ago. I've screwed sheet metal screws into boots and shoes, but they didn't last long. I believe they will. I have them in boots, slippers and a pair of clogs. All of my bases are closed due to shoveling snow in the driveway, mail control, and walking through snow and ice when walking my dog. I took some screws to North Dakota while visiting my daughter for Christmas. I made ice skates for her and my brother-in-law. Perfect timing as there was freezing…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not everything fits

I have used cold cutters on my fat bike tires, felt fishing boots and snow blower. They are amazing and the best value you can find. However. I did not receive the cold cuts when I ordered them. They sent me another brand that looks the same. I use them on my new Simms felt waders so I'm not too worried about durability. If I were to order them for my fat bike tires I would probably return them knowing how long cold cutters last and how well they hold their sharpness over the winter. I'm not…
