Because of the many positive reviews, I had high hopes for it. but despite many negative reviews, this disc cutter let me down. I have a big project and really needed this to make it easier to work with long cuts (local stores have sold out of disc cutters). Thought of Fiskers and a few others but stopped there. big mistake. It could barely cut through the soft canvas material I started with, so I had to apply too much pressure (which defeats the purpose of the cutter in the first place) and flip a few times to get the shredded material. edge. Resin coated vinyl (which cuts very well with a regular box cutter) ran unevenly and unevenly. I have used many circular knives in the past and it seems to me that this one may not be a genuine Olfa. and if so, then the quality has deteriorated. Or I just got one of the lemons. Anyway, I'm upset that it can't be returned. That's bad business these days. Especially for a product that clearly has quality issues. Might as well eat my money.
