Very similar in most respects. The new strip is smaller than the original. Once attached to a Fitbit watch, it looks and wears great. The attachments attach easily and hold when I tug on them. For now, the only downside of the new group is its smaller size. For me it doesn't matter as there are still a lot of cuts left. I ordered two of these just in case one didn't last long I would have a backup right away. I work in the fire and ambulance and I always wear G-Shock watches for their durability and water resistance. The original Fitbit Ionic band has held up very well. I will update this review if there is any bad news. Otherwise, I'd say this band comes second for price. Changed on 07/05/19. There are new photos of the group after the breakup. The plastic that connects the strap to the watch is poorly assembled. Now I'm giving it one star because it's so iffy. I have Fitbit because I track my progress and training. I also do other things as I am a full time Firefighter/EMTP. So I have to make sure that the band will stand up to my work. I think if you like the styles of this particular brand, buy what you want. These straps also work if you break a good strap and have to order a new one. However, don't expect them to last very long. I recently bought a new Fitbit band. The second cheap band I have left after buying Wepro will be kept just in case.
