I will ensure that the Physiotherapist instructs you on the use of these cups and the benefits they offer for pain relief. My problem was recovering from a broken shoulder but I found these cups are good for the whole body to relieve various pains. They don't have to have any serious medical conditions to be useful. The cups were exactly the same as the ones my therapist uses. The only wish I had was to add an even smaller cup that can be used in the upper and lower thenar eminences for arthritis relief. . This is not professional advice, although my therapist agreed she could see potential benefits.
