I had the same problem as another customer. 2 people on 1 Xbox One, both using stereo headsets and can't hear each other because our voices aren't relayed through group chat (Microsoft never envisioned such a scenario?) This solved the problem pretty well if you're using a newer Xbox One controller with built-in headphone jack, you can use this adapter to connect both headsets to 1 controller. Go to settings and turn on microphone monitoring a bit and you're done. Now you'll hear everyone connected to your controller, and you'll hear your own voice too. I paired this with a 4 pin extension cord so we weren't tied too tightly together, worked great.
