The Poetic Lumos iPad Pro 10.5 Case is a case Apple could have made. In fact, with the iPad Pro 10.5, Apple no longer offers its smart case of this size to protect the back of the iPad from scratches or accidental damage. I had an Apple SmartCase for my previous iPads and I can tell you Lumos is the best case for a fraction of the cost. First off, the Lumos case is made out of flexible plastic so it won't slip out of your hands. It's thin enough not to add noticeable weight, but still offers protection from accidental drops from any direction. There are cutouts for the power button and side volume buttons for protection and full use (with a clicking feel). Even the edges are beveled to fit the Apple Smart Cover and keep it in place. And the long edge has a cut-out for Apple smart cover and keyboard case. Apparently the first version of this iPad Pro 10.5 sleeve didn't have the correct cut length, but this new version (shipped June 24th) fits perfectly. Best of all, the Poetic Lumos case includes built-in storage for your Apple Pencil. There's even a holder for the Apple Pencil case while charging. Now that the Apple Pencil is always with my iPad Pro, I use it more often. Absolutely brilliant design. If there's one flaw, it's that the Poetic Lumos' body has a glossy finish, so it leaves fingerprints all the time. I would have preferred a more matte finish. But that doesn't detract from the well-deserved 5 stars.
