My neighbor recommended this particular bark collar as she has 4 dogs that she uses it on. Initially I wasn't for this idea because I didn't like the idea of electrocuting my dog. But my neighbor told me that it works on her dogs with no electrocution, just a beep and vibration, so I decided to give it a try after failing to teach my dog to walk. She was very protective of me when we met anyone walking in the neighborhood, whether on the street or in the yard, and it was quite embarrassing. I always felt the need to apologize for her behavior and when I stopped her from barking and being aggressive it seemed like she got even worse! It's worth the $30 I paid for it! How has this collar changed on my dog! I only wear it when people visit us or we go for a walk because it seems to behave appropriately in every other situation. It took us several weeks to figure out how tight the collar should be and what settings would actually work for my dog. But now we can walk around the neighborhood calmly and not aggressively! I have since recommended it to two other families who have also had great results. The only downsides I see is that when I put it on my dog and he puts it on a metal chain collar with this collar, if he shakes his head to get water, or flies away, or chases a ball, it becomes work. . So do not use this with a choke collar. It also sometimes works when another dog is barking nearby. However, this is not often the case as she is our only dog. So both cons I have are actually pretty easy to avoid and I'm so glad I ordered this bark collar! Buy for your dog, you won't regret it!
