Review on πŸ–₯️ Laptop Stand by Shelcone - Adjustable Notebook Stand for Laptops up to 17 inches - Multi-Angle Stand with Heat-Vent, Ideal for MacBook Pro/Air (Black) by Eric Owens

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Highly adjustable and portable

I don't think there is another stand on the market that can reach the same height as this stand and still fold completely. I have it at about 75% of its full height (angled forward, which raises the screen a lot) and it fits perfectly on my desk (which includes an IKEA monitor stand at the bottom). It is very easy to fold and only takes a second to install once you get used to how it works. The included sleeve is beautifully made, fits the stand perfectly, and is only slightly wider than my 16" MacBook Pro. It does both things I've been looking for in a stand - something that can hold my screen at an ergonomic height .and it folds up for storage in a backpack or laptop case with nothing protruding.I'm looking forward to trying it out in flight to catch a eye-level movie once. The only issue I've found is that it requires two hands to set up (and it's difficult to set it up with a laptop), and on my 16" MacBook Pro in particular, the top panel seems to flex slightly backwards (due to the laptop's top weight + screen) which in A slight twist raises the front edge of the notebook. At first it looked like it might tip over backwards, but it's still stable. I only have the ob He bent the plate forward a bit and that fixed the problem. To be clear, I don't think this is a defect, just a consequence of the fine design. Pros: - Lightweight - Well made - Stable in many positions - Includes a nice felt sleeve Cons: - Requires two hands to adjust - Top panel flexes a little (very little) backwards at certain angles on a heavy/large laptop in my opinion , the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages. (Requires two hands to adjust - a decent compromise for a stand that actually folds flat.) Silent and probably not an issue with smaller laptops. My device also had a small defect in the paintwork (bottom right in the front photo), which I don't really notice. All in all it's great!
