Review on 🐾 LumiPets Animal Sensory Silicone Remote by Matt Louis

Wrong product arrived

We were so excited to get a bear night light but unfortunately we got a bunny. It was in a bear box so I'm not sure if it was a return or not. We removed it to see how it works and it looks good. The silicone is really soft and fluffy (almost to the point that it falls apart if you pick it up) but it keeps on inflating which is nice. My kid always liked to crush it. The light is very bright, but the muted mode is just right! It's hard to find night lights that adjust for just the right amount of light, and this one is perfect. It can be very dark or very light (bright enough to read). There is a button at the bottom to turn it on, easy for a child to find. Or they can click on it. With the remote control you can change any color or adjust the brightness, it can switch between all colors, either fade through all or blink through all. It's a slow enough transition that won't make you dizzy or keep you awake. You can also set a timer or just leave it running all night. The tap feature is theoretically fun for kids, but if you want it to stay dimmed to a specific color, it can't be locked out. It can only be fixed on a light color (which is too light for us) so the night light needs to be put on a shelf because when hit it will change to a light color. This is the only downside to the theme that I see that you can't lock it to a specific muted color, only a full light color. My child (3 years old) also played with the light too much by tapping on it so we had to leave it on the table until he was older. Although my five year old would be fine. Overall this is a great idea and if they could capture the color with subdued lighting that would be perfect. So sad we got the wrong one so we couldn't use it on our trip.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
