Review on Clover Water Soluble Pencil Pack of 3 (Assorted Colors: White, Blue, Pink) - #5003 by Amanda Castillo

These pencils mark fabric well. The lines can be easily removed with water and a light scraper. However, once you start sharpening these pencils, you run into problems where the chalk or whatever is on the inside keeps breaking off. Half a pencil wasted, if not more. Also, they dull very quickly and need to be sharpened after almost every line over 18 inches. This price is crazy for what you get. I used all 3 pencils in maybe 2 or 3 projects and now they are all small. I would expect them to last longer and not break after being sharpened at over $3 a pencil. I will look for a better alternative.
