Review on 🧦 Jomi Compression Thigh High Collection, 20-30mmHg Premiere Closed Toe 240 (Large Size, Black Color) by Danny Bell

I have a DVT (deep vein thrombosis) in my left leg caused by an accident many years ago. I wore thigh length compression stockings for several months after the accident. Then I switched to golf shoes, 15-20 mm, socks. My doctor recently advised me to go back to stockings. So I bought Jomy stockings in a small size. These stockings are of good quality, comfortable to wear and fairly easy to put on. They fit my ankle and knee very well, but they are too short. They should be 20-30 mm, so it says on the packaging. However, they seem a bit like the 15-20mm socks I wear a lot. Be careful when looking for high pressure compression stockings. Jomy's stocking length information is very cryptic. The only place where the length is even mentioned is on the packaging where it says "tights and thigh length is 30" and up. So when I put on a stocking, it's about 5 inches above my knee. And I'm not a big man at all. I am 5 feet 4 inches. I went for a walk to see how the stocking held up. The stocking slowly slides down and after about 3500 steps it slips below the knee. The silicone beads at the top of the stocking are comfortable and do the job, but the compression pressure is not enough to keep the stocking in place. These stockings are of little help at best when worn during periods of inactivity or low activity. They would be much more useful if their length matched the length specified by the manufacturer. Update 11/12/2019: After my first, very unfavorable rating in February 2019, I changed my mind. At least in part that was the manufacturer/seller's fault as I was itching to write a review so I wrote what I felt in the time. I wore hold-ups many years ago, but not recently. For many years I only wore knee socks. So they didn't feel good when I put them on for the first time. Over time I actually found the stockings very useful. I have since ordered 2 more pairs and now have a set of six pairs as I wear Jomi on my left foot and a cheap black sock on my right foot.
