This product was a good compromise between the large number of ports offered by cheaper universal power supplies and the build quality of Targus. I'm not sure how well it will hold up for years to come, but it has already more than recouped the cost of proprietary power adapters that I would have to buy to test these laptops. I noticed that this connector didn't fit properly on my Sony Vaio; although I expected this and it was easily solved by repositioning the cable so the pins touched. A small flaw compared to the fact that none of the adapters fit and the power supply is so cheap it will burn the laptop outright. Also, it worked great for starting and charging my Toshiba Satellite and Sony Vaio.
