Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great portable soldering iron.

Portable iron is a great thing, much the same as Radio Shack did when it existed (and didn't go bankrupt). If he had a way to light a torch or an iron, the rating would be better. But like the Radio Shack, there's no way to store hats that aren't currently in use. And try to use the original packaging as the container will not work if yours is crushed. This brings me to the durability factor. It's not really that strong, the fact that the curl feature doesn't have an option for a snug fit and curls too easily until it pops out at the top doesn't help either. But unlike the Benzomatic portable soldering iron. /Torch or other vertical flashlights that cannot see the liquid level, this one comes with a full transparent tank. That's one of the positive things I have for him. So really great for the price. The delivery time to me wasn't that long. But overall it works the way I wanted it to. Oh, just a little warning, if you buy one item or the other (i.e. a different color) the entire block won't curl tightly for its parts. Parts should be tightly twisted for metal parts like the rod that connects to the burner head or the iron, not stay as much as under this point, yes. And the iron head also needs to be strongly tightened. It's great that it can be disassembled, but the fact that the base of the iron is unscrewed rather than the entire head makes it a little iffy. But it's probably a good idea to craft a box or container for the item instead of using a tool bag.
