I purchased this product based on the strong reviews which turned out to be for a different product than the one I received - look at those reviews and you will see that most of them are for THM01 while this list is now for THM02. The THM02 comes with a detailed manual in English (non-English) which is fairly easy to understand but also includes an extremely extensive back wood list as stated in "BS888 & 589:1973". There are about 140 species, which the creator of this table probably divided into 8 groups according to their moisture properties. Drywall or stucco and wood and then the right board for the wood. To make things clearer, I can quote their comparison chart, which cross-references moisture content for different groups: for example, 15% according to their "Aβ standard. ' Scale would read 12.5% to 17% on other scales. If it works, it's a great way to improve accuracy. I have not yet tested this on any wood for which I have a reference moisture level so I cannot confirm its accuracy which is why I am giving it a three star rating until I know it is as accurate as advertised and also due to the inaccuracy of one Rating based on delivery of another product on which many reviews are based. I will update this review when I can verify its accuracy.
