It is very loud as it only has 2 settings!
Power regulator included; however (according to another reviewer and I should have listened to that review) this thing only works in high performance mode. There's nothing in between (i.e. if you set it to 1/2 power, for example, it won't pump enough air for even my air stone to work). It's all or nothing. It's also the loudest air pump I have. So I bought another one and kept it as a backup because nobody wants to hear that level of noise all the time.
