I bought this lamp with Renno's parents' bed. As others have pointed out: - The instruction manual is basically useless - A short product video on Amazon is the best guide - The remote module is too tight between the ceiling and the light arm. I had to lengthen the wire to make it easier to maneuver - I bought two of these and the second one below is not exactly identical. Just a small design change that's ok. - The second one I bought a few months later also had some dents; I don't usually bother with these things but they are quite noticeable (see pic) Overall this is a good light. I like that the blades retract when the fan is not in use. The light temperature is exactly what I wanted. Light output is normal. All in all it's a lot of features/quality for $
