I was searching for "farmhouse lighting" and this one caught my eye. ordered bronze. The lamp arrived within 4 days. The box arrived a bit crumpled but was well packed with lots of bulky foam. Installation is a real problem due to the lack of detailed instructions as everyone else has left in their review. Knowing this, I bought and deducted a star. My husband and I finally installed it. You screw the metal plate to the ceiling with small screws, with the long screw already going into the appropriate holes. (mostly hanging) After screwing the screws into the wall, connect all your wires and basically catch the screws to go through the light fixture's holes and then insert the caps. The last step is the one that took the most time! I hope this saves someone some time. Oh, forgot to mention that everything is metal and painted to look like wood.
