Having worn these shoes to a full time job during the day I think I would recommend them as fashion shoes. My feet still hurt from it after a day's work, so if you're on your feet most of the day I don't recommend it. all other colored socks except black are definitely seen. There is no arch or heel support so I felt the shoe was just pretty flat. I even tried just walking around the house with them and everything I did was flat. Even if you have narrow feet I would turn them down. I think it's perfect for people with wider feet. I would say if you need shoes right away and don't want to spend a lot of money, that would be great.
