I bought this key fob to replace an Equinox key fob that had torn the rubber on the unlock and lock buttons. I had a hard time opening my OEM key fob; It wasn't as easy as the youtube videos I watched. Installing the new key fob was painless after I disassembled the old key fob. I've encountered an issue a couple of times where a new key fob wouldn't work because the case was slightly open and the buttons on the circuit board wouldn't press. Everything works correctly when I fully connect the halves together.
