At first, water dripped around the shower arm threads. But it’s because I had really really dirty threads. So a little toilet bowl cleaner in there and a toothbrush and I got it cleaned out. I threw 7 layers of Teflon tape on the threads in a clockwise direction and bingo bango, job done.This arm allows me to actually have a waterfall style shower head for the first time in my life! I was able to use this with a normal shower setup.Keep in mind the shower arm does go up from your shower outlet hole like 4 inches. So make sure there’s room.
