This is not a lamp sight, but for outdoor night shots it is useful at best as a reference. I wouldn't just use this for nighttime purposes. It fits on my J mount but is chunky - the viewfinder is offset 45 degrees so the screen looks like a diamond <> on the side, not a square [ ]
