straight out of the box works well with my sony x900f. I quickly tried the apps button and stuff and it worked fine. Thanks to the Amazon reviewers for the detailed information on this remote control. The original xbr900f breadboard remote control was too bulky; This remote layout is very simplified and looks and feels more with the eyes less.ps; Sony, to stand out from the competition, you need to make all your remote controls out of metal alloys; with this simplified layout and long consoles. maybe in the future; Add an LED meter to the top ends to show input selection or volume level. Just an idea.
