Review on Backless Chunky Stacked Mules With Cutout Design, Closed Toe And Scale Heels - Slip-On Sandals For Women by Dawn Thompson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Tight and clunky on my review.

I have a lot of feelings about these shoes, and they're not necessarily good feelings.First of all, I wear a size nine. Size nine is usually large on me, so I'll often wear a size 8.5. I got these in a 9, and they were. small?! I was surprised. My foot is a bit wide, so I suppose it could be that. Still, it was a tight squeeze for my foot, and my heel was hanging off the end.I'm no stranger to mules, but most mules I've had in a 9 were overlarge, if anything. Also, the heel was not as tall as this! If you're not good at walking in heels, or you sprained your ankle recently (as I did), these might be a struggle to walk in. I was actually relieved to take them off and return to solid ground. The fact that they're backless with a narrow(ish) high heel was making me nervous. I'm pretty sure I was walking like a penguin in these. Then again, I admit I'm not the most graceful human being. As for style, they're actually very pretty. You can't tell so much in the Walmart picture, but they have a slight snakeskin pattern. I got the brown/beige version and they're quite pretty. I like the cutout too. I have no complaints about the style. In other words, they get an A for style, and a D+ for comfort and size.

Pros
  • These shoes fit true to size and are very comfortable!
Cons
  • The design may not be versatile enough to match with different styles
