Review on 🔌 SolarEnz DC 8mm Female Adapter Cable: Efficient Converter for 100W Portable Solar Panel by Bryan Turner

I'll reiterate what at least one other reviewer has said regarding some cons when weighing the pros and cons. The 8mm jack is too deep - the plastic collar creates a deep trough that other standard 8mm plugs cannot fully reach. . (especially the center pin). I tried "as is" and it didn't connect. I thought I was just screwed until I read another review here that suggested cutting off the plastic collar on the socket. What I did with the X-Acto knife and now the connection works fine. Also, the very thick wire seems overkill for this product and makes it a bit more difficult to handle/hold than it should be. because it is very difficult to find the adapter cable! Everyone makes an adapter cable with a 5.5mm jack, but nobody makes an adapter cable with an 8mm jack.
