When I changed my washing machine, the old valve started leaking because it wasn't turned off often. Ordered this valve, came in 2 days. I thought I knew how to change it but watched a short video to make sure. Removed the old and installed the new in less than 10 minutes. I used tape on the threads. I left the valve connected to the washing machine open overnight to check for leaks. I had a slight dip in AM. I screwed it in 1 turn and it fixed it. The following week I noticed my other value had the same leak so I ordered another one. In the meantime I was able to fix the old valve myself but keep the second one in case it should fail next time. It seems to be a solid product and the pen doesn't feel cheap like some. It actually gives you something to hold on to.
