I finally decided to upgrade the RAM on my Dell Latitude D800 I bought in 2005 with Win XP Pro. I searched the internet for what I needed (crucial.com website actually I think) and chose this company because they had good reviews and a good price. The memory came quickly, I just wasn't in a hurry to install it. I noticed that the sticky paper holding the closed plastic clamshell said "Lifetime Warranty" so that was good - if there was a problem I wouldn't expect, "oh but you have over Waited 14 days to tell us". two memory slots and one module must be installed upside down, but it worked without any problems. Put the cover back on the memory compartment and turn on the device - a message was displayed that the memory capacity has changed. Should I continue or start the setup? Ran the install and actually found 2GB. Proceeded with uploading and now everything is much more responsive than before. A good buy. Now I think I should upgrade my desktop "Family PC" (Dell Optiplex from the same year).
