Review on Acerbis Dual Road Black Handguard - Model 2140450001 by James Cowan

My girlfriend and I have a set of these on 2 of our 3 ZRXs. The factory screw holes in the bars are threaded the same as the included screws, so they literally hang straight out. My bike has a Brembo 4/32 MC Nissin radial so it barely touches the end of the forearm but not enough to cause any problems. Works well with factory type MS. They are plastic with a metal mounting pad as others have stated. Yes, they FEEL cheap, but even at triple-digit speeds they don't move, and my bike recently fell off a cheap stand that I (stupidly) used directly onto the right handguard and it's held up well. Having bought them on a Versys 650 I would 100% recommend them if they fit your MC. I thought removing the factory weights would make the steering wheel louder, but didn't notice anything other than the usual 4-cylinder tingle.
