Perfect fit due to built-in outrigger weights.

The only criticism is that the right shield is slightly bent down. Should have checked before shipping. The return takes a long time

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Almost everything is there

Acerbis makes quality products.

I installed them on a 2012 Triumph Speed Triple. Because they are versatile, they had to be adjusted a bit with a Dremel tool to be just right. I don't think it's the product. They look good and protect my hands enough from the wind for comfort.

Pros
  • High test results for grip and durability
Cons
  • Only available in white

Excellent quality and very easy installation

Excellent product, genuine Acerbis quality. The fit is perfect (with the right mounting kit), the material is very strong and installation was quick and easy. Improves the look of my 2006 BMW K1200R and provides much needed hand and finger protection. The product is exactly as described. Reasonable price, great value for money; highly recommended.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Not sure

Overpriced: Controls

Good protection retails for $130, I waited months to find a cheaper one so ended up buying it for $97. I thought it was a good deal, DEFINITELY NO COST! It's all plastic, I thought the middle part was reinforced with metal. I can NOW find cheaper markers from various markers on ebay and Cycle Gear all day from $19 to $30. Pro: Can you add light and remove the "outer part"?!? Comes with many screws for attaching applications. Cons: All plastic construction, overpriced (I think it's around $40-50

Expensive on motorcycles and powersports

The protectors themselves feel and look good. The weight is well suited to replace the handlebar end weights. Appearance is compatible with a Ducati Monster or BMW K1200, but I found the mounting hardware looked cheap and poorly fitted. Didn't block all the strong wind. It seemed more like an urban naked bike than a windbreak. There is a groove/cutout on the edge for air to pass through and the displacement is not that great. I replaced the stock KTM handguards, which are more angular, have…

Typical Acerbis Quality: Excellent

A friend bought the TU250X and asked the dealer to include these guards in their listing, so I got a recommendation before ordering mine. I've seen comments on here about how cheap or flimsy they look. I don't understand at all. This is exactly the kind of product I've come to expect from Acerbis for the money, and it offers the kind of hand, controller, and handlebar protection I'd hope for in a one-way mounting system. It's not as good as their Rally Guards, but it's made for dual-use…

Worth the money

My girlfriend and I have a set of these on 2 of our 3 ZRXs. The factory screw holes in the bars are threaded the same as the included screws, so they literally hang straight out. My bike has a Brembo 4/32 MC Nissin radial so it barely touches the end of the forearm but not enough to cause any problems. Works well with factory type MS. They are plastic with a metal mounting pad as others have stated. Yes, they FEEL cheap, but even at triple-digit speeds they don't move, and my bike recently fell

Expensive but goes with almost everything.

I have been riding in the motorcycle industry for 43 years so I take this review very seriously. The advantages(+) of these handcuffs are as follows:+ They are a handguard that will probably fit any tubular handlebars.More than enough for the job.+ Transparent handguard. No issues steering.+ The handguards block the wind quite effectively.+Although the handguards are only supported at one end, they don't seem to vibrate or move in the wind+They look very good compared to most other handguards…

Pros
  • Free for training purposes
Cons
  • Not as good as stated
