Review on 🔊 HiLetgo Mini 3W+3W DC 5V Audio Amplifier: Power Amp Module Board for DIY Portable Stereo Amplifiers with Potentiometer by Gary Haymon

I've seen people plug this amp into USB. From my experience of the past few days, USB AS A 5V POWER SUPPLY WILL NOT WORK FOR THIS! I had to hook it up to a real 5V power supply, which eventually got it to life. I was about to give up, but I wanted to take another shot with more power. It worked! As a result, the small speakers are so loud that I hardly hear any noise even with full amplification and no sound. I think for a $6 amp it does the job well! I can't say anything about the sound quality yet. The speakers I plan to use with it are laptop speakers and therefore not representative of the "sound quality". As far as laptop speakers go, however, they sound better than the original laptop that my speakers were salvaged from.
