Butterfly Basher: Women

When my favorite handbag over the years had a hole in the lining big enough to lose a chihuahua (don't ask me how I know), I made reluctantly went in search of a new non-swallowing creature wallet. It took me months - seriously <months> - to find one I liked enough to buy. Enter the Butterfly Bag. WooHoo: It is exactly as described and pictured. It's faux leather, my favorite kind. It has the beautiful shine you would expect from patent leather and is very easy to care for. The design is really nice and the vertical handles add some flair. The included shoulder strap has a buttery pattern, which is a nice touch. It seems well made and strong. I think it will stay with me for a long time. Wreck: I took the one with the butterflies in silver and it would have looked better with silver hardware. However, I was expecting gold fittings. I <didn't> expect any of these gold fittings to be lost. The bag came without a main zipper, so I couldn't close the bag. This was a bit frustrating as being able to close (and open) my wallet is very important. However, I didn't want to deal with the hassle of an exchange, so I found a replacement. Flash disappointment aside, I'm really happy with the wallet. It has a lot of space. (Please note: This isn't a small bag. It's the kind of bag that causes its wearer to misjudge spatial relationships and end up hitting people with it. Often. Unintentionally [usually], but often.) It's beautiful and unusual as well as durable and functional. Love it.
