I bought this mat so I could exercise in my condo (second home), where the only place with enough room is the living room. This mat is an inch thick, which makes it especially comfortable for prone, sitting or kneeling exercises. But it’s a bit thick to stand on, and makes me feel a bit unstable doing lunges and squats. Not a big deal - I’d just do standing work off the mat. But it’s also being used to protect the very nice rug underneath. I’m swapping it fro the thinner mat I have at home. Also, the carrying bands are elastic, so not that great for carrying the mat if you were taking it with you to an exercise or yoga class.I also notice that it’s getting a bit chewed up by my shoes. Not major gouges, but knicks and scuffs. So durability is not the best.
