Inconvenient placement of sleeves

I am ordering this bag because I love the print and the fact that you can thread the yarn through the collar and have your project in the bag without having to close the yarn. There are eyelets on the side pocket that goes to the middle of the bag. I sent this bag back because the area where the yarn runs through the core in the bag to your project is too small, the barley will hold a 4 ounce ball of yarn. I wish they put the grommets in the other outside pocket that keeps the thread, this one has plenty of room but no grommets to route it to the middle of the pocket.
