The first thing that struck me was that the operating instructions were obviously translated into English from some foreign language. It's illegible. The controls are low on one side, requiring you to lay down on the floor to see what you're doing. The control panel does not switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius as stated in the manual. In addition, the device does not reach the advertised 0°C, I left it in my air-conditioned basement (20°C) for four days. The block was not opened during these four days. The best it could do was 7°F. I also found a small loose piece of plastic lying on the bottom of the unit. I have no idea where that part goes. The 120V to 12V power adapter gets very hot - almost too hot to hold your hand for long periods of time. I'm concerned it might be a fire hazard. Contacted support via email but they're pretty much useless. Her answer was as illegible as the instruction manual. It's a shame to pay so much for something, but it turns out to be cheap junk. Planning to return this device.
