Feeling great but everything is spilling over

I washed this robe before wearing it for the first time and I didn't realize I had small black lint all over the inside of the robe. I thought I had baby bugs all over it but there were little pieces of the robe EVERYWHERE. The next day. I had to wash the comforter, the sheet, the pillowcase, the sofa, the carpet, the clothes I was wearing. I washed it again but now I'm afraid to put it on and again I have to put little pieces of this robe away around the house.
