Review on 🔌 Torchstar Recessed Downlight Connector for Construction by Bill Howard

Superb new design LED boxes. I ordered 16 and some were a little wrinkled but easily bent back into shape. I pulled out all of the mounting nails that came with it and replaced them with better quality steel nails. They tend to only hit the first time you do them slightly off center because they are so soft. The wiring is very easy thanks to the quick connectors inside the box and the guides slide smoothly. I recently installed a couple of cans of Halo in my kitchen which I took off the HD and I would say they are just as good as these. Just note that they don't have an E26 base inside as they are designed to mount LED modules. You can get adapters, but space might be a bit limited. I used Phillips Hue 801480 and they fit perfectly. They have a built in reveal/spread lens. I am very happy with this combo.
