Please note that almost all of the negative reviews about these magnets come from parents who bought them for their children to 'play' with. Bad idea. That's not what they're here for. I bought these for my glass shower door because I'm tired of those lame iron-based magnets you get at Home Depot that won't hold the door closed. They work like magic. Now the door essentially closes when the magnets are just an inch apart. There were only two problems: 1. While my box was intact, the adhesive strips were. Only two stripes remained on the wax paper. The remaining four had to be thrown away.2. The glue is not very strong. In fact, the magnet is stronger than glue. I ended up using some Gorilla Glue on each magnet and it worked great.
