This chair was a must have for my queen size platform bed. When I first bought the bed 10 years ago I had no trouble getting into it. However, with a hip injury, a shorter chair only made the injury worse while I awaited surgery. I can climb into my bed with my two-step stool, which I may add, which matches the wood of my bunk bed perfectly. I sleep much better as I no longer irritate my hips or knees. Thank you!
